Since its founding, the Dracut Scholarship Foundation, Inc. has awarded more than $3.4 million in scholarships to over 2,200 students, reflecting decades of dedication to supporting educational achievement in our community. The Foundation’s first two scholarships were awarded in 1957 and totaled just $350.

 

That legacy continues to grow. At the 2026 Dracut High School Pride Night, the Foundation awarded 64 scholarships and book awards totaling $145,000. This remarkable accomplishment stands as a testament to the unwavering generosity and commitment of the entire Dracut community in advancing the Foundation’s mission and investing in the future of its students.

What We Do:

The Dracut Scholarship Foundation, Inc. supports its mission through three major annual fundraising events:

• Craft Fair

• $10,000 Cash Give-Away Raffle

• Telethon

These events play a vital role in generating scholarship funding and bringing the community together in support of Dracut students.

 

In addition to these annual fundraisers, the Foundation’s long-term success is sustained through its Endowment Trusts and Memorial Funds. Today, more than 40 Memorial Funds have achieved permanent status, with several others actively working toward that goal.

 

Contributions to these funds are professionally invested, and the investment earnings help provide ongoing support for the Foundation’s annual scholarship awards. This enduring approach ensures that donors can create a lasting legacy while helping future generations pursue their educational goals.
